Complete Stainless Steel exhaust systems are now available for all 2WD and Syncro waterboxer 1.9 and 2.1 engined Vanagons. Includes: LEV-FAB Stainless Steel Muffler, LEV-FAB Stainless Steel J-pipe, LEV-FAB Stainless Steel header pipes, DANSK 2.1 cast iron collector manifold, EMICO Stainless Steel CAT and BOSCH oxy sensor, all gaskets and Stainless Steel hardware mounting kit.

Mufflers and Muffler Support Brackets for both 1.9 & 2.1 waterboxer engined Vanagons

Muffler brackets below are for 2.1 application.

This all new muffler made by Cintrage LEV-FAB of Ste-Adele, Quebec is of round configuration, and the same dimensions as the OEM Vanagon muffler, 5” diameter for the 1.9 and 5-1/2” for the 2.1 engined Vanagons. Support brackets may be OEM or the LEV-FAB Stainless Steel brackets, 2.1 versions pictured above or the 1.9 bracket shown below. The muffler is made from quality Stainless Steel throughout. The interior is a baffled design similar to the original design. The tail pipe is a separate piece and bolts to the muffler. The tail pipe is now available for sale separately. The two mounting flanges are of a fixed style. This muffler is sold with or without tail pipe and brackets depending on your particular needs. All Stainless Steel hardware and necessary gaskets are included. Complete 1.9 and 2.1 Stainless Steel systems are available and are listed below.

1.9 Muffler Support Bracket and Rods

This bracket can be used for replacement of the obsolete OEM muffler support bracket and strap assembly for OEM style mufflers or the LEV-FAB Stainless Steel muffler pictured above. All stainless steel construction.

J-Pipes for 1.9 & 2.1

1.9 J-pipe 2.1 J-Pipe

Stainless Steel J-pipes for all Vanagons with 1.9 & 2.1 litre waterboxer engines made by either LEV-FAB or CINTUBE in Quebec. The J-pipe is the pipe between the CAT and the two header pipes on the 1.9 and the cast iron collector piece on the 2.1. The J-pipe for the 1.9 is made the same as the OEM version. The J- pipe for the 2.1 is made with two loose flanges that allow the use of doughnut style gaskets thereby giving infinite adjustment at either end connection and less stress at the connection. The pipe is made from 14 ga 409 stainless and its flanges are made from 304 stainless. These J-pipes are supplied with a complete installation kit which includes gaskets and stainless steel bolts and nuts.
