Saving the front heater blower motor on your Volkswagen Vanagon/T3

Here's a good tip for all you Vanagon/T3 owners. To keep your front heater blower motor alive, ALWAYS put it on HIGH speed to start for a few minutes. This gets the bronze oil lite bushings hot and the embedded oil gets hot and keeps the bushings lubricated so it will run at a lower speed without overloading the motor armature and burning it out as happens all too often.
